Hi there - hope all is well in your respective homes.
The end of a sunny coolish weekend finds us well. Jan's French course via the Ville de Paris is going very well; she has a great teacher and they only speak French. She is supposedly the poorest speaker in the class so it is a challenging context but she clearly loves the process.
The boys have been rolling along well in school; they are thoroughly used to it now both at school, and what is required at home wrt homework. They are getting ready for their last week of school before the Winter break with exams for Tom so he is a little jittery but seemingly well prepared. I took them out for a burn off energy break by our local Marie (City Hall) in the 14th arrondissement - see the pics above. It is the equivalent of an inner city city hall/community centre. If you look behind the boys in the very bottom one you can also see one of the many local creches in Paris - they do a very job of providing heavily subsidized and relatively high quality child care for young parents in the city.
The big news for us is we are going to Morocco for the Winter Break...found a cheap bucket flight and will be going low key at hostels; maybe rent a car and drive through some mountains to the Sahara Desert from Fez (where we land). Will take plenty of pics on the road.
Bye for now...
