May in Paris (with a few trips)

Greetings...long time no hear.

We've been busy busy with school (boys doing fantastic...on a roll), French classes for Jan (ditto, though she won't admit it), a few holiday days in the sun for the boys (one afternoon of which was spent at Park André Citroën, with a water park), work trips for me (to Warwick University in the UK...I stayed at the Vice-Chancellor's farm house as he was my former adviser in Bristol), research (under the gun as only 1.5 months left) and guest seminars in Paris, visitors, weekend walks (to Rambouillet) with our Australian friends (Jon, Sally, Nico), indoor climbing (Mur Mur, under the arches of a railway bridge!), my 47th (ouch) birthday party, Jan and her sis in Prague (right now), and so on.....

Wow...hard to keep this pace up...we'll come back to Madison 20 July and collapse, albeit with smiles on our faces.

I've loaded a sample of pics from the last two weeks...a lot of them but why not. The top ones are the most recent, and the bottom ones (above this text) were taken just after the roller skating session. As you can see better weather is here now, though the humidity brings with it a few storms too.

À bientôt,

K
