'Tis the time of the year for end of school year picnics, music festivals (Paris Jazz Festival in the Par de Floral), visitors (in this case a lovely friend and ex-neighbour - Jon Berrick from Singapore), and so on. I just biked across a few arrondisments after dropping Jon off at his hotel...one of those festive Saturday nights with people wandering, eating, drinking, and above all socializing.
